Jonathan (7) has been wild about nature and all living things since he was able to crawl. When Zoe (5) was little, among the very first words she said was “phage”. Jonathan, who had just learned to speak himself, was talking non-stop about bacteriophages .

At the time, we did not think that this interest would deepen and broaden as it has, infecting other family members. We have built JoZoLabs for the kids to meet like-minded people and to channel their love for nature.

Jo and Zo are excited to put up posts about their STEM adventures: animals they meet or learn about, pets they look after, experiments they run, and anything else related to science, especially biology and conservation. They write and type everything themselves, and most pictures on the site are those one of us took. They are also proud to share their fiction books, The Bug Story Series that they have had fun working on for the past 2 years.

We hope that you enjoy reading these stories as much as our current support base have: family and friends that live on almost all continents as well as on islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

We would love to hear from you! Please send us a message below and leave comments in the blog pages.
