Snowy egret walking on the beach of Delaware Bay

When we were taking a walk on the beach, we saw a white figure slowly walking on the coast. We came closer, and saw it was a snowy egret!

Snowy egrets are birds from the genus egretta, with the breeding adults having peacock-like tail feathers, bright crimson face patches, and black beak. find out more about them here.

After we saw it, about 2 days later, I saw it again in the sky. Could it be a different one, or is it the same one? I am still trying to figure it out. It is going to be hard because it was just a little too far away.
