All about mammals: Flat-headed cat

The flat -headed cat from my book, Animal

This cat has a flattened face. Wild population in Sumatra and Sri Lanka is less than 2,500 individuals. It is semiaquatic, meaning that it is half aquatic, and half terrestrial. It eats by scooping fish and freshwater crabs, then crushing them by its sharp canines. Its ears are almost in the middle of the head, to hear fish swimming through water. It even comes close to human activity, by swimming through irrigation canals. It is nocturnal, and stalks water birds and pounces on them.
